In 2017, I decided to make coffee for a living. Gosh, that was hard. That, combined with other personal hardships, led me to write what I wasn't able to say. It was cathartic for me. It may seem ironic, but I chose Instagram as my writing platform. Sometimes, we don't need to say a lot of things. We just need to say something. Instagram is easy to use, easy to take in, easy to share. As a platform, Instagram allowed me to share with my friends what I found difficult and painful to express out loud. Eventually, I came to realize that I would enjoy doing something similar on a larger scale. I am pursuing social media marketing because I want to build a sense of community through writing and visuals on platforms that are already part of everyone's day.
